Trust our precision-crafted orthotics for superior support and enhanced athletic performance.

Common Issues

Flat Feet (Pes Planus)

This condition, where the arch of the foot collapses, can lead to overpronation and increased stress on the foot and ankle. This is particularly problematic in fencing, where quick, agile movements are essential.

Inward Turning of the Front Foot (Metatarsus Adductus)

In fencing, the front foot often turns inwards during complex footwork, which can strain the muscles and joints. Over time, this can lead to pain and impaired function.

Recurrent Lower Extremity Injuries

Due to the intense and repetitive movements in fencing, athletes may experience recurring strains or sprains in the ankles, knees, and hips. Proper foot alignment provided by orthotics can help reduce these injuries.

Balance Difficulties

Effective balance is crucial in fencing for maintaining proper form and executing precise movements. Orthotics can aid in stabilizing the foot and improving overall balance.

Lack of Power in Lunges or Retreats

Adequate foot support impacts the fencer's ability to generate power during lunges and retreats. Orthotics can enhance mechanical leverage and power transmission from the legs.

Foot Pain, Blisters, and Abnormal Callous Formation

The repetitive stress and friction during fencing can lead to painful blisters and calluses. Additionally, abnormal callous formation can indicate areas of excessive pressure or friction. Orthotics help redistribute pressure evenly across the foot to alleviate these issues.
